Command Field Gun Museum
The Command Field Gun Museum is currently located in the South Yard of Devonport Naval Dockyard. Access to the museum is currently via appointment only, please contact the Field Gun Secretary for further information.
The museum charts the history of Command Field Gun for over a century and tells the story of the field gunners that made Field Gun the highlight of the Royal Tournament from 1907 to 1999. The photos below give a feel for the museum and its unique exhibits.
The museum will be open for Association Members on Saturday 5 th July as part of the reunion weekend. Access to the museum must be booked in advance with the Field Gun Secretary; this is a requirement of the Naval Dockyard.
In line with the redevelopment of South Yard, the museum is due to be relocated during the summer. Further details of the new museum will be posted on this website once the information is confirmed.
